Nice. I really like the Highway 1 series. That satin finish really feels (and looks) cool.

Congrats, guitardan! Ya just gotta have at least one strat in the arsenal, eh!

Looks alot like my '09 MIM fat strat in every way, save for my blue is just a bit darker/metallic, and the pups/pots/blade switch are white on mine.

    Thanks guys !!

She plays real smooth and is pretty much in show room condish.....
Thinking about going all white SSS pups and controls.....
Starting to browse the noiseless SSS options.....lots to see and hear...
It's missing that bridge - middle SS - tone. Suppose I could put a coil split switch and try that out......
But for now it sounds great stock. Just a little hum in the single modes, but not bad at all. ( I did shield the pup cavity )

Anyone have these pups in their Strat and can provide some feeback?

    Thx - Dan

I ended up putting a set of Bill Lawrence NF singles w/ a new SSS guard.
L200's in the neck and middle. L290SL in the bridge.

Love'em so far. Noise Free, great balance, stratty, and the bridge pup has almost the same punch as the bucker it replaced.

Nice choice of pickups! Tell us more about the tones, etc., when you get some more guitar time. I like the cream covers matching the new knobs, too.

I'm interested in some Lindy Fralin Split-Blade Blues start pickups, but $300 is a bit pricey for a $350 guitar!

I was surprised that these BL's were only $40.00ea. I was expecting more $$ along the lines of the Fralins or Kinmans.

I did have to wait ~ 4 weeks to get them, but that was NBD...

Once I have them tweaked in, I'll definatly post some clips...

    The tones are absoultly stratorific.....
Bridge pup is strong, smooth, stratty w/ out being too bright.
Middle is got some serious spank goin on
Neck is full and has that Trower straty meaty thing.
Pos 2&4 have the classic strat quack

I just replaced the volume pot w/ a 250K linear taper. Now I have a smooth roll off that doesn't suck the tone from the guitar or amp.
    It's more like having a master volume....Love it !!!
