Wow! Gotta get me one of those!
This looks kinda cool. Seems like it could be a fun thing for those who travel and want a minimal practice "amp"?

I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009
I could definitely use one of those. I love how my iPhone makes it so easy for my guitar stuff. I have my tuner, chord chart, metronome, etc. all in my guitar toolkit, then I can add this thing and not have to bring along a separate headphone amph, and an ipod to play along to. It is all in my phone. Cool!
I would love to get a small travel guitar and this. I have been traveling for kids sports, and have a trip to Seattle in a week or so. Those two items would make it easier not to completely miss practicing so much.
EDIT: Maybe I could roll like Krashpad and add me a pink guitar for a travel kit.

What would REALLY be cool is if they make a pocket sized unit that wasn't phone based so that we could carry one with us if we don't have an Iphone.

Well that would be a horse of a completely different color. The whole point of this product is to add relatively cheap hardware, and a little program (app) to an existing device to turn it into a headphone amph with lots of features. It also works with an iTouch ipod. You sound like you want a new smaller cooler headphone amph as a stand alone?

Yes. Just not the early ones without audio input. We've tested the app on iPhone 3G, 3GS, iPad, and current iPad Touch with great success. Low latency and great sound all round.Originally Posted by Jipes

You already can... OK, well when released you WILL. Semantics... it is already being done here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CKntj6C53LkOriginally Posted by SuperSwede
The track needs to be imported though, based on the latency that would be introduced by how the iPod app functions (at I believe 1024 samples and we're doing 128 or 256 depending on the setting you choose in the app). Check that video out, seems to have no latency issue. It isn't the most blazing Satriani track in the world, but still has parts fast enough to show he's playing along frustration-free.
Super! Just lemme know when you are going to ship out the review unitsOriginally Posted by IK Multimedia

Well you can see it in action here: Claudio Sanchez from Coheed & Cambria played through one backstage at their recent NYC Central Park show... said "this thing is awesome" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzkdMnn4ttQ
and now it looks like the countdown has begun... look out in 9 days! Can't say much more at the moment.
