Default Are you gigging much these days?

Are you playing any gigs anytime soon? I have 3 gigs on Saturday, then the weekend after I'm the new "back-up" guitar player for a country band in Edmonton. I play 3 gigs in 2 days with them. Hope I get more gigs out of it. I have to learn 5 CD's worth of new material in a week! Then 2 weeks later, a Christmas party gig. It's one way to learn new stuff - the knife under your throat! Oh well, it should all be fun in the end.

Not yet... But we're working on it! I've done some sit-ins occaisionally, and that's about it. My buddy and I were trying to get a hard rock/metal band together, but we couldn't find anyone that was our age, with the same level playing ability and work ethic. We went country last week, found a bass player and singer, and all we need to get started is a drummer... We're also looking for a male singer as well for more versatility. Hopefully, we'll be ready to go around the beginning of '06. It's been way too long, and I can't wait!
