I insist on my clients letting me ship via The USPS, antiquated tracking , but never a brokerage fee or a damaged guitar or amp in 10 plus years I have used them for my shipments,I never use Fedex or UPS to Canada for that very reason, Greg.
May all your days be memorable, all your friends stay true and all your riffs be killer....

I am amazed at how people in the US don't use their postal service. I for one am a huge fan. I even rented a Post Office box in Lewiston NY. I used this to send things back and forth to my daughter who was attending UNC.
It saved me hundreds of dollars compared to Canada Post. Their rates were really good and the people were excellent to deal with. One item for example. was some medical records. The envelope was going to cost 32 dollars. to mail. It was by weight and I was over by 2 grams. I took out a paper clip and the price dropped by 12 dollars. I took it to the USPS and they sent it for around 1.25. It was a friggin brown kraft envelope with 5 or 6 pieces of paper.
And as Robert mentioned don't get me started about the fees, duty and taxes.
