This is a cool story forwarded to me by my luthier. He's dabbled on my HB-35, my EA20-12, and did some work on my Idol, as well as my Larrivee acoustic. Well regarded in Chicago, and he knows I'm abnormally drawn to Washburns, so he sent this link to me.

For those unfamiliar, the Wing series Washburns were Japanese built Washburns, designed by the new owner at the time, who was bringing Washburn into the electric realm, and many believe he did a phenomenal job. People exposed to these consider them top notch.
