Default Arion SCH-1 Chorus, Marshall JVM, SD-9

Tested the other day to record straight from the camcorder mic. Here I am using a Suhr Classic, Maxon SD-9 and an Arion SCH-1 chorus.

    How's that tone?

Nice and ballsy. I don't know why a guy would even play any of his other amphs after getting tone like that. I'd say the search is over.

Every now and then I really regret selling my JMP-1 rig...the JMV seems like an even better basis for a really versatile and great Marshall rig.

Much as I love my current setup and amp, I would really really love to have a JMV as well. I've tried it a few times and I could play the crunch channel ad nauseam...but I have decided I will NOT trade my ultra-reliable p-t-p amp setup for a JMV; great an amp as it might be I want to keep one superb simple amp I can leave for my kids some day...I dunno how will such a complex beast as JMV stand the test of time.

Still, I am quite sure some day, perhaps when more JMV's are getting into the used market, I will have one.
