Question What is the fifth hole for on the neck plate?

I just purchased a new American standard and noticed the neck plate has a fifth hole with no screw, what is this hole for, maybe a strap button?

The plate is labelled "Fender CORONA, CALIFORNIA" if that helps.

Apologies if this is a simple question, I only just started playing a few weeks ago and this is my first Fender, I love it so much.

I managed to find this is for the neck tilt adjustment, discovered this by looking up neck plate parts on the fender website

Go carefully with Microtilt adjusters. You need to loosen the neck bolts a little before making any changes. If in doubt, give it to a pro.
The truss rod key you should have got in the case fits the adjuster
    Electric: Fat strat > Korg PB > TS7 > DS1 > DD-20 > Cube 60 (Fender model)

Acoustic: Guitar > microphone > audience

@markb, thank you. Yes I will not be touching the tilt or truss adjustments myself, that will be for a professional to adjust.
