    Oh yeah baby! Funkadelics and the Parliament! Prince is up there too. George Clinton. I have some great Funkadelic/Parliament albums that I just love. I seen Maceo live in Victoria, BC. Great, sweaty show.

    Sorry ... but in my book James Brown is nothing but pure soul. He is the granddaddy of soul years before funk was preconceived. Please disregard this message if I have the wrong James brown in mind. I am a few years behind the rock & roll timeline.
