    Default Gidday from Oz..

Hey there, Lachy from Australia, been lurking for a while and decided to join up. I love classic/heavy rock, blues, pop and more. Played alot in Sydney during the 80's and early 90's then quit for family. Started playing again after about 16 years and now jam and do the occassional oportunity gig
My gear is a Vox VT50 and an old strat copy which I've had since 15 (don't laugh too much, it's really quite a sweet old girl at over 30).
In the past I played a Strat and an SG through a Roland JC 60, Yamaha 100, Marshall Mosfet 100 head through a quad. all good fun.
Really enjoying playing again and checking out 'the fret'
    cheers,
    Lachy

    Welcome aboard, Lachy!

One might be tempted to laugh at this Strat copy too if they'd never heard what its owner could do with it!
Ah, nothing relieves the discomfort of GAS pains like the sound of the UPS truck rumbling down your street. It's like the musician's Beano.

Welcome from Down Under to Up Top (I'm in Canada)!

Strat copies are the best strats anyway.

    Fused, I hail from Sydney...

Anyways I raided the backing tracks section in home recording and found a nice fast BT by oldguy and did a quick bit of lead, great backing track I reckon ., but I struggle to keep up with the pace sometimes.
