Default NGD Teaser... (Now with photo)

There are three Fretters who already know about this one, so you must keep silent until I have the Grand Unveiling, but before I do so...

Any guesses? Here's a hint: I don't have one like this yet. Yeah, that's not much of a hint, I know. I would say that up until about a year or two ago, I never thought I wanted one. Obviously I was mistaken, because it arrived in Casa FrankenFretter on Tuesday, all shiny and new.

    Let the games begin!

I have to wait for daylight to get some decent photos. My camera flash just washes everything out.

Now that I think about it, there are probably more than three Fretters that know the answer. Okay, nobody who belongs to that other forum where I hang out is eligible. That includes Tig, and Perfect Stranger...and I'm sure I'm forgetting someone. Btw, I didn't post pics there, either. I just happened to find out about the great deal on this guitar through that forum.

    I think it's a tele!

But, for the sake of tradition

    Electric: Fat strat > Korg PB > TS7 > DS1 > DD-20 > Cube 60 (Fender model)

Acoustic: Guitar > microphone > audience

    It's a Parker Nitefly or a Steinberger.

    Any hints?

I'd guess it's some sort of tele.

Hmmm, now if somebody was selling good quality Tele clones for $136 plus free shipping, I can see how that might be hard to resist....

At $136 plus free shipping, if it was somehow a lemon, at least you wouldn't feel like jumping off a BRIDGE or anything like that now, would you?

True. I think that's a pretty black & WHITE situation.

And speaking of black, that's a nice color with maple-necked Tele's, don't you think?

Hmm, my google skills are not working this morning. Can't pick up that particular price on the tele copy. Saw some nice Xavieres and Rondos though.

You guys are good. Mark was the first one to get it, and DVM was ultra-accurate. Too many smart people here....

I'll post a thread with a real review soon, but here's a little something to get you by until then.
