Hi everyone,
I decided to try to move the Godin Redline I traded for earlier this year, at least that's the direction I'm leaning in, so the pup I put in in is up for grabs.
It's an EMG 85-X, one of EMG's models introduced to compete with the Seymour Duncan Blackouts. It's essentially an updated, more natural sounding 85. It was a definite upgrade from the 81 that was in there -- more mid-range and bass. Even though it's not as naked as active pickups can be (this is a good thing!), it still has the active-pickup clarity.
Comes just as I got it, with the packaging and all of the pots, wiring, etc. This is a less-than-stellar picture, but it's all I have on hand. Let me know if you want more pictures and I'll get some. I mean, it's a freaking pickup, but if you want pictures...
I'll start at what I bought it for: $75. They're about $110 new.
And...go!
