No personal experience, but I've heard a lot of people say positive things about Lollar P90s. Of course, I've also heard a lot of people say that P90s are one of those pups where just about anybody's version sounds good. Changing pups in a hollow body like that is not the most fun thing in the world, that's for sure.

    Default Pickups

I know a guy that has a set in a LP Special with a bigsby, played thru a black highly modified Bassman, and they sound really great.

I have some duncan designed ones in a Squier tele that include a RWRP one, so it's noise cancelling in the middle switch position - something that comes in very handy - an escape from that sometimes overwhelmingly irritating noise.

These pickups will shimmer and shine or rip your face off when overdriven with a good tube amp.

Beautiful sounding pickups and the Lollars have to be substantially more awesome.

    Good luck with them.

Major changes to guitars and amps, to be updated soon.

I have a Bombshell with Lollar P 90's in it.
The tones that come out of that thing always make me smile

    Here's some noodling
