For me, it's Meet The Beatles and Sgt. Pepper's - for obvious reasons.
Not so obvious: The Beatles' Abbey Road. I, my g/f and her g/f were listening to that masterpiece over and over again the night the US gov't held the Vietnam draft lottery. My birthdate was drawn #186, so I was NOT getting drafted!
And, Van Morrison's Astral Weeks. Played that one endlessly when getting ready to fly back up to NY after a brief hiatus from the band.
If you put a gun to my head, I'd have to choose Astral Weeks. I NEVER tire of that album and listen to it often. Pure genius! (And, Van the Man recently released a complete live version of that entire album done at the Hollywood Bowl, coupled w some Van classics. Either one highly recommended, although the original studio version is my passion.)
