Default Ukulele: "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", check this out

    Hi Everyone,

One of my good friends sent this link to me of a guy playing the Ukulele. I was amazed at this guy's playing. I though that everyone here might enjoy this too. He plays a fantastic version of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps". Who would have thought that this song would sound so good on this instrument.

As a side note, George Harisson was a big fan of the Ukulele. He would have really liked this rendition of one of his best songs.

    Enjoy, -- Jim

Jim, that was brilliant! That ukulele sounded so much fuller than those I´ve heard before. Surely that must be the ukulele worlds response to PRS guitars?
    Awesome playing too!
I can't say that I've given up on a flanger cause I've never liked the effect either. I also can't say the same about Tremolo. I hate them both equally. - Tone2TheBone 2009

Yeah, I would say that Ukulele he is playing is not your garden variety instrument. It looks like a custom made one.

    Spectacular!!

I was once in a music store with alot of handmade acoustic instruments. Lutes, mandolins, as well as guitars. Very high end & very nice.

This guy burts in off the street & sez:

I need the cheapest ukelelee that you have.

It was the funniest line that I ever heard.

    I nicknamed him Ukelele Jones.

I'll bet he was inspired by this guys playing.

On a side note: Homestar Runner's girlfriend Marzipan plays the Oo-koo-lay-lay.
