Default Best tone cap for overwound strat pickups

Looks like I'm going to go with the GFS True Coil Overwound Set 12K / 10K / 7K for my new pickups. Since they're overwound, what's a good tone cap to use? .047 ok or will that muddy the sound?

I'm reading that with overwound pickups it's better to stick with .022 - but I'm a tone cap newbie big time.

I think the tone caps only affect how the tone knobs roll off the highs. So with the tone dimed, it won't matter which cap is in there. The 0.047 as I understand will roll off more highs as you turn down the tone.

A good way to experiment is get yourself a few different caps. Solder some jumper wires and run them out under the pickguard. Solder some alligator clips to the ends and now you can easily demo different caps and spend some time with them until you know which ones you like best
