    i saw 38 special many many many many years ago in gainesville....they opened for charlie daniels (i was more interested in 38 special than charlie daniels)....38 played a rocking show....charlie daniels actually did too....he and his band were much more polished than 38....

    I saw 38 Special a few years ago and I've Charlie Daniels a couple of times. Both put on a heck of a show. Love both of them! As you all know, I am a Big (literally... lol) Southern Rock fan! I saw Charlie about 2 years ago. He's in his 70's and STILL puts on a great show!
