Can't go wrong with a Mesa/Boogie amph! Great tones to be had there, I believe.

It ain't gonna be cheap, though. I would imagine that it's gonna cost more than the Fender.

Everyone in the metal community that has a MB raves about the high gain tones, and they are incredible, but I've heard some amazing cleans come out of M/B amphs, too!

I think Voodoo has the TA head. You might ask him what he thinks of it.

I am praying it will be around the price of the supersonic 22 but I am sure it is not likely but one can dream, pray and hope. LOL

I am just very interested to see what street price they do come out with.

My Transatlantic TA-15 is quite the little tone machine, but expect to pay accordingly for the combination of the Mesa Boogie name and the quality & features of the amp. Mine was $900, which seemed to be the going price EVERYWHERE. So don't be surprised if the TA-30 head is $300 - $400 more, given the added wattage and features. Reverb and an FX loop are the two things I wish my TA-15 had....

Thanks DVM for your input so most likely $1500.00 plus for the combo would you agree?

Also DVM how are the clean tones? More Fender or Marshall like or it does a decent copy of the Vox, Fender, Marshall cleans tones as well mesa cleans tones?

Yeah, something around $1400 for the 1x12 and $1500 for the 2x12 sounds about right.

Nice cleans and lots of them--Vox, Fender Tweed, Marshall and Mesa (but who plays a Mesa for cleans??). Only thing it lacks is a real Blackface clean tone. But the Vox clean is so good you prolly won't even miss it....

LOL Mesa for cleans yeah I know but I had to ask since this will be my main amp most likely once purchased. Maybe I can beg a ticket to Namm from one of my friends to check it out next month.

I'd like to see a gut shot, but I must say for a US built amph with those features $1499 is actually a bargain for the head. I also like the tubes being easily accessed. That's a feature my Traynor lacks, and it's a PITA.
