Nice sounding guitar, Robert. You appear pleased, anyway. I like the concept of the mojotone kit, too. Lots of possibilites there.
I put these 1950's pickups in my old crappy Squier Strat. I installed a Mojotone Blender Wiring assembly, and a Fender bridge donate by our pal Otaypanky!

Yeah, it's now a great sounding cheapo guitar. These pickups are really good for that vintage sound. I like them better than my Fender CS '54s. The Porter bridge pickup is fantastic - has bite but not overly harsh. This set is a keeper!
The Blender wiring assembly from mojotone was a good investment too. 60 bucks something, and it super easy to install. Needless to say, the components are top notch. The original pots I had in the Squier were like half the size of the Mojotone pots!
