Default Online contest heads up: Green Rhino MkII

Enter to win a Dunlop Green Rhino MkII. The contest questions are pretty funny.

    http://www.jimdunlop.com/contest/way...rhino-giveaway

The Green Rhino MkII, the most popular of the Way Huge pedals released in the 1990s, is back in all its smooth, throaty low gain glory with some sweet upgrades: a 100Hz EQ knob cuts or boosts low end frequencies by ±12dB, and a Curve control fine-tunes corner frequencies. All this amazing tone-shaping makes other overdrives seem boring and one-dimensional by comparison.

To celebrate the return of the legendary Way Huge Green Rhino MkII, we’re giving 15 of them away!

    Sigh....USA Only....

Good luck to the American fretters though.

(and and for the record, "I Like To Wear:" d. None of the above)

I'm in. I have entered these dunlop giveaways before. Not hoping for much, but some lucky dog is going to win.

    Alright, to the question:

    "I would rather live":

    Which of you said:
"In a Volkswagen bus with two hot chicks and a circus midget"

I can't wait to win all those guitars! Of course, I'd trade them for a VW, a midget, and two hot chicks!

How is this for irony? After lunch today I walk into Long Mcquade hoping there might be some after season deals and low and behold, what do I see on sale (used) for only $50 bucks but the Green Rhino MKII. The funny part is, I totally forgot about this contest but new a Dunlop pedal for that price was too good to pass up (at least up here in Canada). Anyway, I just plugged it into my boogie and it sounds awesome with the P90s on my Godin... just the kind of boost I was looking for. I've only played it a short time but it sounds great. I've been looking for an overdrive pedal for my Marshall Class 5 (which I bought from Robert) and I think this might be the one but for now, it stays with the boogie!

This Green Rhino overdrive is really nice! It is super clean when the drive is low. What I really like about it is that I can drive the clean channel of my boogie and get nice crunch at very low volume. I normally use the 10W mode but with the Rhino, I am running @45W with the master volume @ 8:30 and it sounds great.
