Default Guitar pickup tone data base

    I stumbled across this.
    http://www.aqdi.com/cgi-bin/database.cgi?SELECTA=[137]+Ibanez+IBZ-LZ+Humbucker+(neck)&A=4&SELECTB=[61]+Fender+Squier+Classic+Vibe+Strat+Single+Coil+(nec k)&B=4

It compares frequency responses of a variety of pickups, and you can specify different types of cables you might be using as well as pot values. What you end up with is a chart comparing pickups as they are ran through the cables. Pretty cool.

For example: you can compare the frequency curves of a PAF neck pickup to a Virtual Vintage neck pickup and run each through a particular cable that you might be using.

I'll check it out when I get home, but that seems like a really cool thing. All the more chance for me to be overly analytical...

    Thanks for posting.
