    I just heard on the news about the earthquake in Christchurch. I'm not sure where all you New Zealanders live. Hope everyone's OK.

    I'm on the North Island a long way from Christchurch and just fine. Thanks, guys. That doesn't mean that anywhere in this country is particularly safe though.
    Here's the recent earthquakes list. All 30 are aftershocks from Tuesday's event. They've had six months of this down there.
    Electric: Fat strat > Korg PB > TS7 > DS1 > DD-20 > Cube 60 (Fender model)

    Acoustic: Guitar > microphone > audience

    I was able to call my friend in Christchurch and it was sad to talk to him. It's very evident he is worried, depressed and has no idea what to do next. As a Katrina 'survivor', I can't pretend to say I know what they are going thru but I can understand the feelings of utter helplessness. In some way, I'm going to help him out but I don't know just what to do yet. Seems you can't send anything there since there's no one to take, sort and deliver it.
    It's certainly not getting as much press as you'd think. I've never been there but Christchurch is a historical city. I feel very, very sad for them all.
