Plywood Strat Bodies ??
Through my own and a friends stuff we are running into Strat bodies that are plywood. No problem good heavy bodies nice sounding guitars but is this something done between owners of fender or ???????? Also what is the difference between a body that has a cap on front and back and plywood ???

I have a body of a Biscayne that is made of compressed fiber stuff, the same thing used in kitchens and cheap dressers...It's heavy as a brick and as resonant as a stone.
I'll make a clock with it.
