Default ABB with Haynes on a Strat

Stumbled across this....man, these guys are soooo tight, the transitions are unreal.
Haynes tears it up on an MIJ strat, and Betts, well, he's Betts.

Fun to watch, great camera work for the guitarist

This Betts/Haynes was the incarnation in which I saw dozens of ABB shows. Always super tight and a lot of ear-splitting goodness.

Obviously musically that was pretty cool (though the sound editor in me couldn't help but wish for smoother cuts).
Visually, that was awesome. The artists did a good job with everyone in the band, particularly Oteil who they got absolutely perfect.

Great clip. But it makes me sad given that Dickie and the band ended badly. On the other hand, had Dickie not been canned we wouldn't have seen Derek step with. Other good Warren Stratwork on the dvd called Live At Great Woods, although it might be hard to find these days.

Great clip! Thanks for posting. I enjoy some ABB from time to time. Haynes is a great musician who's got tons of tone in his fingers.
