    I actually saw Freddie K perform six months later that year, in Montreux, Switzerland... and some actual show footage is on the Tube - As a DVDs were published of the most notable shows there!

    (National swiss TV used to tape the entire Jazz festivals, typically in mid-July, and would play stuff back during the winter, good stuff - I hope they saved their archives, not trash them like the BBC did...)

    Way huge, thanx for Freddie! I too lucked out and saw him and Brownsville Sta., opening for Black Oak that year in LA, great show at the Hollywood Paladium. Dude loved his wide lapels!
