So I was walking around G0uitar Center after getting really tired of my Epiphone LP Special II that I got a bit over a year ago to learn on and nothing really thrilled me. I tried a few Schecters and an Ibanez that piqued my interest but wasn't excited about it when I sat down to play. I've always like the sort of goofy style of the Jaguar. Not a fan of Strats or most double cut styles, but the blob look intrigues me, I guess. I saw a red(ish) Jaguar that was labeled as new for 2011 and what not so I sat down and played. I really got into it. I enjoyed the sound, the feel and the what-not about it. I'm curious if anyone else has any thoughts on these.

I was just reading last night a HNGD thread for this same guitar. The Danelectro style bridge is the only concern.
"The weirdest thing is that the screws that hold the saddles in place are directly under the strings. You need to completely slack the string and move it out of the way in order to set the intonation."

I'd rather buy one of these!

Since I was still pining over this I went back to check it out again to see if I still liked it. Well I did ;-) and Mrs. Dot approved (I didn't get it yet, still nervous to pull the trigger). But I noticed it looks like the intonation can be adjusted with two little screws on either side of the string also. I wasn't positive and the workers seemed busy so I just enjoyed it for a bit then left again.
