Cool. I heard a review/summary of it on NPR the other day, and it sounded pretty neat. Unfortunately, I think I average around 2 movies a year, so while it's on the list, the chances of me seeing it anytime soon are pretty slim.
Went to see Super 8 on a whim with no expectations. I read mostly positive reviews and knew that Spielberg produced it, as well as it takes a few ques from movies like ET, Goonies, and Close Encounters. It is rated PG-13, but a few moments are too scary for the younger kids.
Not everyone will like this as much as my son and I did, but I was pleased how good it was for the most part. It was well made, and the main characters were superbly played. I won't spoil anything here, however.
