Very useful lesson, Mark. I might have a chance at this if I can train my picking fingers.
Coach said I had drain bramage, but I'll show him.
This weeks lesson is all about using our hybrid picking learned in the last video to do some (very slowed down) banjo-style rolls. Each measure works over a specific chord and the last measure is just a stock flatpicking lick in G that I thought would tie things up nicely. As I've been woodshedding Alberts playing this week I've discovered that while there are really some crazy technical things going on quite a bit of it isn't all that hard to play at a slow tempo. It's just that the tempos that Albert can play these things at is absolutely eye-popping.
