Thanks for the suggestion! I thought I had the necessary add-ons, but I may have been wrong. I'll review and update as needed and see how it works out.

Just got back and I haven't touched a thing yet in regards to this issue. Is the problem gone?

I was away and did not have access to view or fix the issue.

I just needed to come home, and everything fixes itself? Perhaps the forum software is afraid of me.

I have to wonder if it was a routing issue. If I would have been at my computer during that time a traceroute would have told the tale. If it was a server problem, it seems unlikely that it would have fixed itself.

Super slow today from 2 different networks and using 2 different browsers.

It take minutes to do what usually take seconds, but only with The Fret. I don't see any outside (google analitics) web sources causing the latency.

Normal speed for me, but I read slow. Actually, it's super slow today from work and home.

It's still slower than usual, but not too bad. I'm running the site on Firefox right now.

Not really. This direct link to your post took over 30 seconds to load, as does the 'new posts' search.

    How slow is it?

It's so slow that I was just able to read this thread from last August.
