    Default Hey MAXI.....

Saw George Clinton last week at a local venue he plays every year, and somehow in light of that I found this neat little tree I thought you'd enjoy:

In other news, what do you think of the new Sly CD with Jeff Beck, Bootsy, Johnny Winter etc.??

I mean, no offense, but I don't really see why, like guitar players from Creed, or something like that, are on the cover of guitar magazines. Almost anybody can sit down and learn to play those songs.

I hope he had a few of the old crew with him. He's been touring with a lot of new folks as of late.
But even the new guys are pretty decent.

He lets the hip-hop crowd sample for free something no else would ever do but that is cool in a way it keeps his music expanding into the youngsters ears even if they do not know it.

REALLY, I heard Sly was going to release something but did not know it was out amazon here I come too cool thanks for the info. Sounds like a bunch of folks he had played or toured with back in the day.
