Thumbs up Sherlock - the new BBC series

OK, this isn't exactly a movie, but each episode is almost 90 minutes. Anyone who loves a well written and presented story that involves thinking will love this new series. The first season had only 3 episodes, but they are long enough to feel like nothing was rushed or missing.

I saw 4 episodes, and they were all excellent. Cumberbatch is perfect.

Confusion.....I can only find 3 episodes online. Bookeeper, is the fourth one new? The Beeb website only lists 3 shows.

Just the 3. They don't have a date listed for the second season opening episode yet, which will be the 4th overall.

Found all 3 so I'll get them a go during the next week. Really appreciate the info. BBC does a great job on shows. Spooks is my all time favorite.

The second season was even better than the first. Only 3 episodes, but they are really movies at 1 1/2 hours.
The writing is clever and intelligent so many levels above the average fair we see on TV.

Great writing and performances and the nods to the original stories are cleverly updated. Excellent all round.

What an incredibly brilliant show! I just finished watching the second season and it was fantastic. I do hope there is another season.
