Wowsa! Those are beautiful.
Last week we had an awful lot of rain here in Pa. Lots of areas nearby had serious flooding. I was lucky. But I had a lot of time available to be at my work bench. And I was fortunate that I had a few customers who had ordered some straps that were really enjoyable to make. Here are a few photos
This one was hand carved with a Celtic theme
This one has a hand stamped basket weave pattern
Wowsa! Those are beautiful.
The Law of Gravity is nonsense. No such law exists. If I think I float, and you think I float, then it happens.

That maroon strap is really pretty. I can only imagine what amount of work went into the basket weave design.
"No Tele For you." - The Tele Nazi
Ha! Tele-ish now inbound.
The Celtic one was the finger cramping mind number, Spud.
That one took me a few days. Probably in part because I had never tried one like it. One of my customers commissioned another one of those so I'll soon see if the next one takes a bit less time.
This is really kindergarten stuff compared to what pro saddle makers do. Here's an example of what a fellow from your neck of the woods does, he's in Idaho too. I'll add a link for his site in case anyone would like to see some of his amazing work
