    Default Hello Everyone!

    Hey all!

My name is Nick and I play acoustic. I'm from El Paso, but go to college in Albuquerque; right now I'm studying abroad in Granada, Spain. (Hoping to learn some true Spanish flamenco while I'm here!) I'm in an acoustic duo called Fragile Balance, and I love playing both fingerstyle and with a pick. I'll be posting a lot more at this forum, it seems like a great place!

If you want to check out my duo, we're a mix of contemporary fingerstyle, classical, post-rock and several other genres. Here is a link to our website and here is a link to our facebook. I'd like to see what some fellow players think. Thanks!

Mucho gusto, Nick. Welcome to The Fret.

I'm currently listening to a few of the songs streaming on your website, and you guys sound great! Quite beautiful and melodic. Nice interplay between the two guitars.

My main guitar is a 1999 Taylor 314. I found her used at Guitar Center one day for a great price! I have K and Ks installed; you can hear her in the right ear on all our songs haha
