    The people I know who use them swear by them, but they are quite expensive.

    The guitarist in my band has them in his Tele. I think they sound great. Really have a lot of muscle to them.

    It's an '89 American Standard Tele (the Bardens are the only modification) through a Boss tuner, a Vox overdrive pedal (Big Ben?) and a Line 6 DD4 into a Mesa Boogie Subway Rocket. He uses a pretty simple setup but Tim's a monster guitarist.
