For $125 you can go catch him at a club in Vegas. The 3121 has become his club of residency for the next month or so. It holds around 600 people and he only has a 5 piece band. Very intimate setting.

Spud, that is very interesting to hear. I am surprised he would do this. I'd love to go there! Actually, I have been thinking about running Las Vegas marathon - maybe I can go see Prince after a sweaty race?

According to reports he is doing this to sharpen up for the upcoming European tour. He'll be in residency for around 2 months. But knowing his Purpleness I would suggest going sooner rather than later as he is well known to be fickle and change his mind often.

Why don't you just jog down there. It certainly must be shorter than running from Sweden and there is no water hazard.

Yeah, Prince can play. Incredible. I always have enjoyed Jeff Lynne's singing too.

Prince plays a mean guitar. But, where do they go when he throws them over his head?

FYI - Prince had never played that song before this take. He did it cold. Pretty amazing huh?
Also that is George's son standing next to Petty. Looks just like him too.
Almost all of this band is on the Concert For George DVD. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it. Simply amazing!
