    Default Brian May Tone

Closed out a nice Thanksgiving with some classic rock from Queen.
I have the "Montreal" DVD but caught some of the broadcast this evening on VH1Classic.
Tuned in at "Dragon Attack", a great Queen rocker with Brian May's excellent tone and playing.

I'm watching the Montreal concert right now on VH1. I like it more than the Wembley Stadium concert video.

Always great to be reminded of what a great talent Freddie was -- he's got the blues sex frontman strut down here in spades. And May's playing is always on, but here he seems to be having fun and wandering a bit too. Many, they wore tight pants in those days, eh? Gotta be mucho binding, if ya know what I mean. Queen had the rep of being overblown but at their core there was a tough, tight, gritty rockin blues band, too.
