Hello everyone. I am new here and I have a question about my Strat. I bought this Strat at local pawn shop about 1988 for an incredible price and I am having difficulty narrowing down the date of manufacture. The serial number is E453709. It is a Plus deluxe 2-Color Sunburst Color Code 03 with a maple neck. Everything I have found about the date is ambiguous. I know you guys can help. Thanks. Oh yea what's it worth these days, knowing my luck not much.

Hi, and welcome. I took a brief look at some eBay prices, and I saw a range of about $500-800.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping to get a little more exact date but this is still good. I don't want to take the neck off to see if there is a date there because if it can be broken then I am your guy. I only paid $250.00 for it so it looks like I am in the black at least and that's a good thing also. I also have a Foto Flame Telecaster MIJ and a Squire Afinity Tele so I guess I am Fender to the core. Thanks again guys.

    Welcome!!!!
