    Default epiphone lp.spc.tv yellow double cutaway

    this t.v. yellow guitar is awesome. going to put gold hardware on the entire thing and some seymore duncan mini humbuckers on it to get more of the fat les paul sound. what do ya think? i need some input thanks!!! jd

    If I got one of those guitars, I'd get it for the P90s.

    I think the gold hardware would not go well with the TV yellow... Standard chrome or black would be good.

    IMO, the LP DC would be just crying out for a good set of P90s. Make no mistake, they can sound plenty fat... Just listen to any old Leslie West or Mountain tune.

    I usually associate minihums with Firebirds, but that's just 'cuz it's what I'm used to seeing. Minihums might sound really good, though.

    So, what all my rambling comes down to is that it's all up to you, and what sounds great to your ears. Enjoy the process!

    Nickel hardware, slightly green plastic tuner buttons. That's the look for a Les Paul Special
    Electric: Fat strat > Korg PB > TS7 > DS1 > DD-20 > Cube 60 (Fender model)

    Acoustic: Guitar > microphone > audience
