You lucky dog! It seems like a really cool pedal.

    Does it suck tone bad?
The Law of Gravity is nonsense. No such law exists. If I think I float, and you think I float, then it happens.

That's the thing I've been most impressed with. My OD definitely colors my tone even when it's not on. I don't even know that the EX is there. I don't know if it is "true bypass" but it is very transparent.

    Yes it does.

I finally got around to A/Bing it today and this pedal changes my guitar signal a lot. I found a loss of low end and a general overall compression effect and loss of clarity with the pedal off. I don't know if they all do this or not, but for me the honeymoon is certainly over.

It does a lot of different things and does them well with a lot of control over parameters, but now that I hear exactly what it does to my original signal I don't think I can live with that.

Maybe the other users will chime in here and do a serious comparison with the pedal plugged in and with it out of their signal chain. It could be that I have a lemon. If I do have a lemon I'll get in touch with Digitech who is only 2 hours from me and see if something can be done or if this is the norm for the pedal.

Hmmm. In my initial tests I remember being amazed at how it didn't effect anything at all. Perhaps I need to do a retest.

I thought the same thing too until today. I'm using the supplied AC adapter.
