Thumbs up Satch's "Crush of Love"

If you've heard JS's "Crush of Love" you know what an incredible tune it is, very open-ended to what can be laid over it for lead. I found a backing track for it, not that professional, but a good basic jam, and really nice for an instructional track. It's really nice to practice to. You can take this from "basic" to "ball to the wall" with some practice. I'm still pretty much "basic".

Here's something I put to it. With apologies to Satch. It is a good learning tool. Have fun with it.

Hey, Zeusse, I'd really like to hear your version.
I posted the backing hoping to hear more takes on it.
I just threw that one of mine on here to get somebody else interested.

This was a strange find for me... I never heard this song, that I know of.. so I went on Youtube to listen to it by joe satch.. I ran across a sixstringjoe from Omen, who played it very well I thought.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KDIDdDV5bA and after looking him up he had one one channel he was tracking... ROTREN I had to send him a message telling him how he can find ROTREN on thefret.net . but he is probably already here! you out there sixstringjoe? very good playing.. enjoyed his Comfortably Numb version also...

Yes, very fine playing on both of these. He's really good at playing with just his fingers, that's something I could never do well. Hope he drops in here to join the fun! He also has a great tone, IMHO.
