Default Guy Pratt - funny guy and cool bassist

Love this little video - a great story about his Jazz bass followed by some classic Disco bass

I love that one. Guy Pratt is a very talented player and quite a comedian as well. Loved his dad too.

Cool story, but I couldn't hear who he got it from. David who?

Gilmour. He's been in Gilmour's band for several years. He also played on many famous songs, Madonna's Like a Prayer and Michael Jackson's Earth Song to name but two. But he was an 'in demand' session player in the 80's and 90's.

It's my understanding that Gilmour played a lot of the Pink Floyd bass parts rather than Roger Waters. I recall reading that he had a low opinion of Water's abilities.
