Happy new guitar day, but...
Today as a belated Christmas gift I received a cherry red G-400 model. Even speaking as more of a Fender guy, the feel of it is pretty nice, the neck is a little thick, but the extra access to the higher frets is a plus. The finish has a good aesthetic, but it smudges easily and the nitrocellulose can't really handle a stand. The action is pretty good, it's not too loose, but it's not the sort of thing that you could slice cheese with. As for the sound, it's about average for playing with distortion and surprisingly good with rhythm. All in all, it's a pretty good guitar, but it's probably better to buy it used rather than buy it for $631 new.
Pics will come soon.
Happy new guitar day, but...

Sorry if the pictures are a little blurry, it's my first time photographing a guitar.
BTW suggestions for paint jobs would be much appreciated.
Well...that didn't work too well.

Not nitrocellulose, for sure - easy maintenence poly. Nice guitar!
