    I think they both look pretty decent. Have you considered just leaving it off altogether?

    I like the one on the left. Or leave it off. But probably the left pic would be my pick for pickguard.

    Never like the Epi pickguard shape. I put a short 335-style one on my Dot Studio and it looks great. I didn't put it on for aesthetics, though; I put it on because I like the slightly higher place to rest my pinky. I was used to playing my dreads when I bought it, and the strings on a archtop are further from the top than the acoustics. The pickguard evened up that distance.

    I like tortoise on white and black guitars. I like bookkeeper's idea to go with the slightly smaller Gibson version. Also, no guard might be cool as well. It only matters what you like, so go with your heart.

    Allparts.com has them for $20.
