A reviewer on NPR's Fresh Air last week said it ranks among Raitt's best. The samples they played sounded great.

Saw her on Letterman last night - a very bland, uninspiring performance.

I have a copy but have not gotten a chance to listen yet. I'll reserve any judgements until a few rotations.

I am absolutely sure I will find some stuff to like on the album. Bonnie is an old favorite of my wife's, and we have seen her live several times. the first single, this vid, unfortunately, is of a song I hated as a kid. Her treatment makes it somewhat better, but I will be looking forward to hearing some Bonnie, not this cover.

EDIT: here is a positive review from NPR, and a link to listen to the whole thing: http://www.npr.org/2012/04/10/150071...ming-good-time

EDIT EDIT: the link on the NPR page for listening doesn't work any more. This one seems to: http://www.bonnieraitt.com/article/n...itt-slipstream

I like what I have heard so far.
