I just bought a Playtech LP studio copy, the cheapest new LP style I could find retail in Japan (just over $100). I bought it to take product shots of some of my new accessories on an LP guitar. Surprisingly the guitar actually plays and not that badly either! Pickups actually have a little depth and sweetness to them. The tuners work ok although quite cheaply constructed. Frets are quite good although a couple need leveling. Really an excellent first guitar for someone just starting out although I'm sure that quality control at this level is hit or miss. Thankfully I scored a hit with this one!

Being a huge fan of "Economical" guilars, I approve. But, and this has to be said, pics or it didn't happen!

Guitars: Lots.
Amphs: More than last year.
Pedals: Many, although I go straight from guitar to amp more often lately.
