Looks like a great time! Also looks like you were rockin' the Sovtek at this gig, too!
W/usual ridiculous pics.
Last Saturday was my birthday, so I played a show with my band, Crash Pad. We called it Krash Bash 2012, and billed it as my "25th Annual 29th Birthday" (since I turned 54). I got 2 of my fave local bands with old friends in them to play, and the house added a fourth.
Here is the flyer:
This is a college town and the kids are now gone for summer already, so it was just a small crowd of friends.. It was good fun though.
Here is the openers, the Holy Sh!ts:
Here's my friends Half-Crocked, formerly known as Half-Cocked (note boy-grrl ratio), with my friends Deb and Cindy:
Unfortunately I didn't get any shots of closers the Gris Gris Boys, with my friend Rob singing and playing guitar. This is them though, I believe playing the same club on a different night:
This is us, mucho mas fotos later.
As usual, any and all questions answered, and your gibes re my poseritude encouraged.

Krash - yer lookin' fit and trim, man! Wish there was some audio to go along with your photo - is that your new birthday guitar?
You look lean and mean Krash. Gotta say, lookin' at your photos for a while now.......you have an impressive collection of gits that you gig with.
Thanks, yes we had a great time.
I pretty much always use the Sovtek with Crash Pad. Gain dimed, volume pedal, no effects. Although with the Casino's wiring still being effed (only control that worked is master vol) I added an EQ pedal for leads.
Here's some instagram'd pics by the the rhythm player's gf:
Irony is ironic: giving credit where it's due, only to have instagram fuzz them out:
Some pics by Tim our "record company A&R guy" (translate: entire record company, actually, or: guy who's rather incredibly sunk $5K into the band's album):
Waitaminit... Did you get a new drummer?
Sharp eyes!
Our regular was outta town for the weekend.
This guy played in a side band w/the bassist and I, so he was the perfect candidate for a sit-in, already being used to our playing (albeit with different material in a different genre). Plus, he had a great time, so now we have a designated hitter for future shows.
Win-win!
Yesterday afternoon/eve I got bogged down in a rush project at work, couldn't get to the last of the pics (egad more?). My 15-year-old took these, they have some of the more ridiculous you may've come to expect:
I think this was taken after I walked out of the club during the final solo and played standing out on the sidewalk outside (note audience reaction by my friends Deb and English):
And of course:
There, done!
