What a loss for the acoustic guitar world. A dazzling guitarist, wonderful story teller and all around good-guy. RIP

It is a very great loss to the music world. I was lucky enough to see Doc in 2006. It was amazing to see those fingers fly. He never let blindness get him down either. It's been a tough year for musicians.

The New York Times had a good write up. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/05/30/ar...pagewanted=all

I'm a big fan and have 6 of his albums. Two Days in September is my favorite. A true innovator and a great man as well. Godspeed, Doc.
