Is that a big gap between the neck and the body on the low E side? Pretty color.

VERY nice stuff, 6S9L. I, too, think that the painted headstock look is very nice with a maple fretboard. I've got a think for maple . . . don't know why.

Spud not only are you dashing, debonaire, and the fountain of wisdom but you are psychic too... you are correct , ishibashi in tokyo , i've had several dealings with a great sales rep named Hiro , he never disapoints ..their service is amazing , if you are looking for a japanese strat these people are the go to guys .. this is a great piece of wood loud even when not plugged in and arrived with a great setup and pretty much dead on intonation ..may have to tweak the bar a little , guess i'll let the neck settle for a few days first .thanks for the props

I love the descriptions (after translation):

"The Texas special picking up is installed in the Alda body.
'57 Storatocastar that invents vintage fat sound."

That's what I've been saying all along!

So they cost about $613 CDN? How much for shipping?

The Japanese deals from Ishi seem to go through pretty easily from everything I've heard. Wow. That guitar is stunning, absolutely stunning.
