    Default Nbgd! kinda...

    I got this bass back!

It's an Yamaha RBX-270 with a Jackson pickup.
I bought it in 2005 I think, but only used it to record one solo album of mine Dee's 2005 solo album and then I borrowed it to a friend. Last night he comes to visit and brings the bass back and a bottle of wine :-)

I hadn't really missed it, but now I checked the intonation and been playing it a while...playing the bass is fun too! I've owned a few before, and overall this is the nicest I've had, while not an expensive one etc. it does everything a bass should and is stable and sounds tight&plays effortlessly and without noises.

Amps: Marshall JVM 410H w/ Plexi Cap mod, Choke Mod & Negative Feedback Removal mod, 4x12", Behringer GMX110, Amplitube 3/StealthPedal

Looks very similar to the Yamaha bass I played in my last country band.

Those things rock! Great playability, fit and finish at a very affordable price. The one I played had the most beautiful flame on the neck that I had ever seen (in person).

Congrats Dee! Yamaha makes good stuff, haven't owned one of their basses but did have a guitar for awhile. Always nice when a lost sheep returns to the fold!

Play it loud and have some fun Dee!

Sometimes it's very fun to just shake the house with some bass.
