Thumbs up If you'd REALLY like to hear Clapton at his BEST....

If you'd like to hear Clapton at his BEST....

....here he is sounding better than he's sounded in years IMHO. This WAS about 15 years ago but
still... No, he's not playing Lay Down Sally...or Wonderful Tonight. This is him playing with musicians
that have his talent in their own right. These musicians, I feel, challenged him to up his game....and
    he responded masterfully.

So settle back, kick off your shoes, put on headphones if you can or turn up your speakers if
you can't, smoke a joint, or drink a couple glasses of wine, or a couple of jack & cokes, or
whatever it is you do to get in the groove......and listen to the man play his guitar. I dare
you to listen to this concert and not have a new appreciation for the man. Ol' Slowhand, he
    ain't!

I wish he'd do more projects like this one......

Thank you for at least replying. Most times it's like I'm just talking to myself on this forum....

You're right, PS... This is Clapton at his best, in his element... and it's not the same ol' stuff.

He's pulling out all the stops, and sounds great!

It does sound different... I wonder what amph he was playing? That gold Strat with the Lace Sensors is awesome, too!
