Default So many good guitars around...

I have a very local CL ad for an affordable MIM strat up on my laptop screen... I can't bear the thought of calling about it, even though a decent (or better) strat is on my list.

Too many good instruments around these days, we are spoiled.
I guess I could call, but then may not want to offer much..

There must be a Shakespearerian (sp?) quote fitting this situation...

Even, there are many good guitars today I'm not completely enticed to buy a new one.I rather to play my old stratocaster because it suits it my genre, and it also contains so many precious memories and funny moments too.

CL is a curse to me. I can't help myself when I see a good price. I have bought or traded four times in the past two weeks and am working on another one right now.

I completely resonate with this....good luck.

Share some photos, even if they are just passin' through.

I've only once seen a CL listing with a decent price - round here they always seem overpriced... Lucky for me, I guess!

Most of these are "pass throughs". I have a few more to add when I get a chance too.

Some very cool stuff in there Jtees....the Hagstroms look old enough to be actual Swedish builds? Looks like fun!

You'd be in a world of hurt down here in the GNV. Although a relatively small city, Gainesville has the largest state uni (U. of Florida) in the state, plus a huge community college (Santa Fe College. which also offers 4-year degrees as a satellite campus of St. Leo University), so lots of kids. Also, a fairly hoppin' original music scene. The result is that the muso-to-normal-person ratio is through the roof, and in turn it's frequently a buyers' market for gear on cl.

    Although, I'm good for now.
